I asked him about what it means to be publicly traded:
The book, The Wisdom of Crowds, presents an overview of the research that shows how groups of people out perform an individual (even a lone expert) in many judgment and choice tasks. In this way, Mike might be better off asking his shareholders to make important life decisions for him. Moreover, the idea of having others choose dating partners is not so far fetched. After all, people have been doing it for centuries as part of arranged marriages.
